Pro-Shot Video: Phish Shares ‘Mercury’ From Riviera Maya In Mexico

Over the past weekend, Phish presented the 2nd annual installment of Phish Riviera Maya, a destination event featuring three full shows at the Barceló Maya in Riviera Maya, Mexico. Today, the quartet has unveiled pro-shot video of a song from Saturday’s second of three shows at the event.

The video below features a take on the Anastasio/Marshall gem “Mercury” from the second set on Saturday, January 14. Phish had shelved the complex original between their run at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park in Denver in September ’15 and this past September’s run. Saturday’s “Mercury” was the fourth since the song returned in September and was a highlight of the show. Phish nailed the composed parts and dug into the more open-ended sections with passion and energy. Watch how it went down:
