Pro-Shot Video: The Disco Biscuits Close Out Colorado Run With Red Rocks Show

By Jeffrey Greenblatt Jun 4, 2017 9:24 am PDT

Last night The Disco Biscuits concluded a four-night Colorado run with a headlining performance at the historic Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison and continued to reward fans with another free webcast of the show. The quartet offered a segue-filled affair, that found the band putting the petal to the metal over the course of two sets.

The Biscuits once again booked-ended their first set with a song, last night’s choice was “Spaga,” which found the band teasing Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody.” Next up was an unfinished take on “Rock Candy,” which flowed into “Crickets” > “The Champions,” and an inverted version of “Mulberry’s Dream” before returning back to the set’s opener “Spaga.”

The jamtronica act opened their second set with an unfinished version of “Save The Robots,” followed by their second ever take on David Bowie’s “Let’s Dance,” which they debuted earlier this year. The rest of the seamless set featured a run on “The Great Abyss” > “I-Man” > “Hot Air Balloon” > “I-Man,” before closing the night out with a “Munchkin Invasion” encore.
