Pro-Shot Video: Dead & Company Performs ‘Tennessee Jed’ In Colorado

Last year, Dead & Company brought their Summer Tour to Boulder, Colorado for a two night stand at Folsom Field. The opening night on July 2, 2016 saw a first set rendition of “Tennessee Jed,” which has been shared by the band in a recently posted professionally-shot video.

Lead vocals on the Robert Hunter/Jerry Garcia-penned Grateful Dead classic were taken on by guitarist Bob Weir, who was backed on drums by his Dead band mates Bill Kreutzmann and Mickey Hart. The ensemble also featuring bassist Oteil Burbridge, keyboardist Jeff Chimenti and guitarist John Mayer will return to the road next month, embarking on an extensive tour on May 27 in Las Vegas and returning to Folsom Field on June 9 and 10.
