Pro-Shot Video: Dead & Company Perform ‘Terrapin Station’ At Final Show Of 2016

Just over two weeks from now, Dead & Company will begin Summer Tour 2017 in Las Vegas. The band featuring Bob Weir, Mickey Hart and Bill Kreutzmann of the Grateful Dead joined by Jeff Chimenti, John Mayer and Oteil Burbridge continues to roll out professionally-shot video from Summer Tour 2016 in the build up to their 2017 jaunt.

The latest Dead & Company video to surface on the six-piece’s YouTube channel was recorded at their final show of 2016, which took place at Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, California on July 30. Dead & Company led into the evening’s “Drums” section with a slow and throbbing “Terrapin Station.” John Mayer handles vocals on “Lady With A Fan,” while Bob Weir fronts the group on the “Terrapin Station” part of the song that begins with the word “inspiration.” Oteil Burbridge’s bass work is impressive throughout and the Rhythm Devils provide a strong base.
