Watch Prince & The Revolution Perform ‘1999’ Live In 1985

The Prince Estate continues to rollout video highlights from the upcoming restored, remixed and remasterd edition of the legendary artist’s concert film and album Prince and The Revolution: Live, due out on June 3 via Legacy Recordings. The latest is Prince and The Revolution performing “1999” in 1985.
The live album and concert film comes from The Purple One’s iconic March 30, 1985 concert at the Carrier Dome in Syracuse, New York on his legendary Purple Rain Tour. “There’s nothing I would change. It was one of the most powerful concerts I’ve ever attended,” Prince said of the show.

The Prince Estate previously shared Prince and The Revolution performing Purple Rain opener “Let's Go Crazy” from the storied show. The estate now follows with video of “1999,” the title track to Prince’s 1982 album that proceeded 1984’s Purple Rain.
