Post Malone’s much-anticipated country covers set at this weekend’s Stagecoach festival featured several special guests performing with Posty at Empire Polo Grounds in Indio, California. Country stars Dwight Yoakam, Sara Evans and Brad Paisley dropped in on the set made up entirely of covers.
Malone kicked off his set with a take on Tyler Childers’ “Whitehouse Road.” The setlist also featured covers of songs by George Strait, John Michael Montgomery, Tim McGraw, Vince Gill, Toby Keith, Randy Travis and Alan Jackson.
Yoakam was first to emerge, coming out to sit in on a performance of his song “Little Ways.” Paisley was next to join Posty, collaborating on his song “I’m Gonna Miss Her” and Vince Gill’s “One More Last Chance.” Post Malone recorded a version of “I’m Gonna Miss Her” that was released last week as an Amazon exclusive single.
Later in the set, Evans was called onstage to perform her song “Suds In The Bucket.” Paisley was brought back for the final song of the set, Alan Jackson’s “Chattahoochee.”
