Watch Pigeons Playing Ping Pong Cover NSYNC & The Weeknd At Brooklyn Bowl
Baltimore-based jam quartet Pigeons Playing Ping Pong shared pro-shot video featuring a mix of originals and debut covers from their recent “Super Bowl PPPPre-Party Halftime Hall Of Fame” livestream concert. “Super Bowl PPPPre-Party Halftime Hall Of Fame” originated from Brooklyn Bowl in New York City on Saturday, February 6.
Pigeons Playing Ping Pong devoted their first show of 2021 to originals, sports-themed tunes and songs played at Super Bowl halftime performances. The video released by the four-piece includes a seamless, 25-minute segment from the group’s second set at Brooklyn Bowl.
Guitarist Greg Ormont displays his rapping skills on original “Couldn’t We All” to kick off the sequence. The slow jam gave way to Pigeons’ first-ever cover of NSYNC’s “Bye Bye Bye.” Pigeons Playing Ping Pong’s sing-along “Bye Bye Bye” was followed by another cover debut as the band served up an extended take on The Weeknd’s 2019 single “Blinding Lights.”
PPPP jammed “Blinding Lights” back into “Couldn’t We All.” The quartet then concluded the segment with original “The Liquid.”
