The Brothers Comatose and Good Luck Thrift Store Outfit :: 3.18.16 :: The Fillmore :: San Francisco, CA

The Bay Area’s own The Brothers Comatose lived out a dream on Friday night by performing before a capacity crowd at the famed Fillmore in San Francisco. Brothers Comatose were greeted by a raucous crowd as the band celebrated the recent release of an album about San Francisco, City Painted Gold. Not only was the string band assisted by T Sisters for part of the show, but the evening came to a close when a large church choir backed The Brothers Comatose on a few songs including a cover of The Isley Brothers’ “Shout.” For the encore, TBC, the choir, T Sisters, The Sam Chase, Kelly Jane (The Little Fuller Band) and opening act Good Luck Thrift Store Outfit filled the stage to present a stirring rendition of The Rolling Stones’ 1969 gem “You Can’t Always Get What You Want.” Check out Susan Weiand’s photos from Friday night followed by a few videos:
