Twin Peaks welcomed Wilco's frontman and longtime Chicago resident Jeff Tweedy to the stage Tuesday night at Thalia Hall for a two-song encore. The concert in Chicago was the sixth night of Twin Peaks’ ongoing hometown reunion residency.

Twin Peaks went on hiatus in 2020 during the COVID pandemic. In November 2025, the band announced a pair of reunion shows at Thalia Hall to celebrate the 10th anniversary of their 2016 album Down In Heaven. Fierce demand prompted an expansion of the run to eight nights, all of which sold out. The residency kicked off May 14.

Tweedy joined Twin Peaks for both songs of Tuesday’s encore. The collaboration initiated with “Glad And Sorry,” a cover of the Faces track from the influential British rock band’s 1973 album, Ooh La La.

Tweedy and Twin Peaks then treated the Thalia Hall audience to a joint rendering of Wilco’s “Spiders (Kidsmoke).” Tweedy wrote and recorded “Spiders (Kidsmoke)” for the 2004 Wilco album, A Ghost Is Born. Twin Peaks released their cover version of “Spiders (Kidsmoke)” in 2019.

Earlier in the set, Twin Peaks performed “Shake Your Lonely” with guest . The band’s hometown residency continues tonight with show seven of eight at Thalia Hall. Finn Wolfhard opens Wednesday’s concert.
