We’ve heard the rumor for months, and according to RollingStone.com, it appears to be true: Phish look to be headlining the 2009 Bonnaroo event.

Set to go down in the same big field it always does from June 11-14, Bonnaroo won’t release the lineup for at least a month, but RS.com has reported, “reliable sources close to Phish [say] that the band will top the bill for two nights, restoring the fest to its jam-friendly roots.” Other big name acts being tossed around include a potential headline spot for Bruce Springsteen.
