By Scott Bernstein Feb 26, 2018 • 11:50 am PST

The long-rumored third Phish festival to be held at Watkins Glen International in Watkins Glen, New York has been confirmed. Curveball will take place August 17 – 19, marking the band’s 11th festival since beginning the tradition with the Clifford Ball in 1996.
The quartet recently announced a summer tour that includes dates leading up to Curveball. After the festival, the band will take a few weeks off before their traditional Labor Day Weekend three-night stand at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City, Colorado. Phish first played Watkins Glen in 2011 for a festival dubbed Superball. They returned in 2015 for Magnaball.
