Phish Announces ‘Dinner And A Movie: An Archival Video Series’
Phish announced the Dinner And A Movie: An Archival Video Series. The first installment will debut tomorrow, Tuesday, March 24 at 8:30 p.m. The series will continue each Tuesday “for a while.”
Phish will replay their August 31, 2012 show at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City, Colorado for the first Dinner And A Movie replay. The full show replay will be streamed on webcast.livephish.com, Phish’s Facebook page and the new JamBase Livestreams Calendar page.
Phish chose the WhyHunger non-profit organization to support through the first replay. Donations made to the band’s The WaterWheel Foundation on Tuesday will be donated to WhyHunger, “which provides critical resources to support grassroots movements and fuel community solutions rooted in social, environmental, racial and economic justice.”
Phish also shared Sue Anastasio and Trey Anastasio’s “Between Me and My Mouth” Vegetarian Chili recipe (find it below), which they encourage others to make (or any other dish that can be made while making smart social distancing choices). Those that cook along can share their work on social media by tagging #phishdinnerandamovie. New recipes will be posted each week.
