Phil Lesh To Perform Terrapin Crossroads 5th Anniversary Shows

Grateful Dead bassist Phil Lesh will participate in a number of shows next week at Terrapin Crossroads in San Rafael, California. The Bay Area venue owned by Phil and his wife Jill Lesh is celebrating its fifth anniversary with a series of special events starting Monday, March 6.

First up is a free Phil & The Terrapin Family Band at the Terrapin Crossroads bar on Monday, March 6. The next night will showcase a free Terrapin Trivia Night with Phil and Team Terrapin in the venue’s Living Room that will feature questions about the first five years at Terrapin Crossroads, plus a ticketed Thunder & Lightning concert in the Grate Room featuring Phil, Stu Allen, Scott Law, Scott Guberman and Alex Koford.

On Wednesday, March 8 Scott Law & Ross James’ Cosmic Twang will welcome guests Lesh, Dave Schools, Barry Sless, Cass McCombs, Jason Crosby, Mark Levy and others during a Grate Room show. Phil Lesh & Friends made up of Lesh, Sless, James, Crosby, Levy and Chris Robinson will play the Grate Room on Thursday, March 9 and on Friday, March 10 there will be a free Songs To Fill The Air afternoon outdoor show featuring Phil & The Family Band on the Terrapin Backyard stage.

Terrapin Crossroads is also soliciting photo entries for the Terrapin Crossroads Yearbook. The venue is seeking “images of your favorite Terrapin memories, musicians, festivals, Terrapin Nation friends, our amazing employees and more.” Selected photos will be presented in the yearbook which will be released at prom in June.
