Phil Lesh Cancels Early October Phil & Friends Shows

As we reported, Phil Lesh was supposed to front Phil Lesh & Friends for shows featuring Anders Osborne on October 2 as well as John Scofield on October 5 and 6 at Terrapin Crossroads in San Rafael, California. In a disappointing turn of events, the the venue announced all three shows have been cancelled due to “unforeseen circumstances.”

Terrapin Crossroads’ message on the cancellations notes refunds will be available at the point of purchase. Those who purchased tickets online will automatically be refunded within 48 hours. Phil’s October 2nd performance with Osborne was also set to feature drummers Alex Koford and Ezra Lipp, keyboardist Jason Crosby and guitarist Ross James. The shows headed up by Lesh and Scofield were also set to feature drummer John Molo, guitarist Ross James, multi-instrumentalist Jason Crosby and vocalists Elliott Peck and Alex Koford.

Dear Terrapin Nation,

We regret to inform you, that due to unforeseen circumstances Phil will not be available to perform on October 2nd, 5th, or 6th. We’re all very much looking forward to tomorrow’s Backyard Blowout, and many more fun-filled performances at TxR, but unfortunately these three Phil & Friends shows will be cancelled.

Refunds will be available at the point of purchase. If you purchased your tickets online, you will automatically be refunded within 48 hours. If you purchased your tickets at the TxR box office, we will be happy to refund you there. Thank you for your understanding, and stay tuned for lots more to come at TxR in the near future!

Phil Lesh is currently hosting and performing at Terrapin Crossroads today as part of the venue’s Backyard Blowout.
