Phil Lesh 80th Birthday Run Posters Include Planned Lineups

The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, New York was slated to host a series of three Phil Lesh & Friends concerts over the weekend in celebration of the Grateful Dead bassist’s 80th birthday that were postponed due to the coronavirus COVID-19 worldwide pandemic. Merch for the run is on sale now here with net proceeds going towards Feeding Westchester that reveal the musicians Phil Lesh was supposed to perform with.
Phil Lesh was set to play with a band featuring legendary singer-songwriter David Crosby as well as Dawes members Taylor Goldsmith, Griffin Goldsmith and Lee Pardini on Friday, March 13. Crosby was also aboard for the Saturday, March 14 concert which was supposed to feature Phil Lesh Quintet (“The Q”) members guitarists Warren Haynes and Jimmy Herring, keyboardist Rob Barraco and drummer John Molo.
