This morning the nominees for the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame Class of 2017 were revealed. Pearl Jam, the Cars, the Zombies, Yes, Bad Brains, MC5 and Steppenwolf are among the 19 possible inductees revealed today. Tupac Shakur, Depeche Mode, Electric Light Orchestra, Jane’s Addiction, Janet Jackson, Journey, Chaka Khan, Chic, J. Geils Band, Joan Baez, Joe Tex and Kraftwerk round out the list.

More than 800 artists, historians and music industry insiders form the Rock Hall voting body and will decide which of the nominees will be inducted. Fans also have a say in the matter as from now until December 6 votes will be accepted via RollingStone.com. The top five acts voted on by fans will count as one of the ballots to determine the class of 2017.

Each nominee released their first single or album in 1991 or earlier. Pearl Jam and Tupac made it on in their first year of eligibility, while Chic has been nominated 11 times in the past, Joe Tex is up for the fifth time, J. Geils Band and Kraftwerk for the fourth and Yes for the third time. Look for the inductees to be revealed in December ahead of a ceremony in April at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center.
