Pearl Jam was scheduled to headline the Hard Rock Calling event in London’s Hyde Park today but the coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic led organizers to cancel the festival. The band continues to roll out professionally-shot video from their last concert in each city they were supposed to play this summer with a 2010 show at Hyde Park represented by “Why Go.”
“Why Go” was the second song of Pearl Jam’s appearance one decade ago at Hard Rock Calling on June 25, 2010. The show featured three tour debuts including “Red Mosquito” with special guest Ben Harper. Pearl Jam opened with “Given To Fly” at Hyde Park and then delivered a raucous version of “Why Go” from their debut studio album, Ten.
