Pearl Jam was supposed to play Rock Werchter in Belgium today before the coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic led to a pause in live music. The band last performed at the Belgian festival on July 7, 2018 and today shared pro-shot video featuring their set closer.
The Seattle-based rockers treated festivalgoers at Rock Werchter to a guest-filled performance that included appearances from Jack Johnson on “Imagine” and a cover of MC5’s “Kick Out The Jams” featuring MC5 guitarist Wayne Kramer, Kim Thayil (Soundgarden), Brendan Canty (Fugazi), Doug Pinnick (King’s X) and Marcus Durant (Zen Guerrilla). The 22-song main set came to a close with a riotous version on “Rearviewmirror.”
