Pearl Jam continued their European Tour on Thursday night with a show at Waldbühne in Berlin, Germany. The Seattle-based rock act delivered a lengthy career-spanning show saw them dust off a partial take on a tune from The Rolling Stones and team up with a pair of friends during their 27-song night.

Eddie Vedder & Co. got their evening at the 22,290-capacity amphitheater going with a pair of tour debuts as they served up “Wash” and “Sometimes,” dusting off the the track from 1996’s No Code for the first time since November 2015 – a span of 43 shows. The band stuck to their mid-90s output next with takes on “Corduroy” and “Why Go” coming ahead of the night’s third first-timer on this run “Save You” from 2002’s Riot Act. After offering up “Given To Fly” the seminal grunge band was joined by their longtime friend and chronicler Danny Clinch as the photographer played harmonica on “Red Mosquito.”

“In My Tree” saw action for the first time since 2016 next. Prior to a take on “Even Flow,” Vedder gave a shout out J Mascis who was in attendance dedicating the classic song from Ten to the Dinosaur Jr. guitarist. The band continued to serve up more tour debuts with “Habit” and a partial take on The Rolling Stones’ “Angie.” The Goats Head Soup tune was last teased back in 2016, while the intro to the song which was played last night, was last attempted back in 2014.

The night’s first encore featured Vedder dedicating “Breath” to Cliff Poncier the fictional lead singer of Citizen Dick. The singer told the crowd that he lived in Seattle, but his band never took off despite having a hit in Belgium before diving into the track from the Singles soundtrack. Pearl Jam returned for a second encore dedicating their cover of Pink Floyd’s “Comfortably Numb” to Roger Waters. After a take on longtime fan-favorite “Alive,” the band brought their evening to a close by welcoming out their second guest of the night as J Mascis strapped on a guitar for a jammed-out take on Neil Young’s “Rockin’ In The Free World.”
