Pearl Jam scrapped their concert on Saturday (June 29) at London’s massive Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. The show was called off “due to illness in the band” as per a statement from Pearl Jam.
While the statement didn’t indicate which member of the group was sick, frontman Eddie Vedder had problems singing and appeared ill at the band’s previous show in Manchester. The London concert will not be rescheduled and has been canceled outright.

“This decision was the last thing we wanted to have to make, especially as we know so many of you made travel plans based on the tour schedule,” wrote Pearl Jam. “There was simply no other option based on our current health and also having to avoid further damage.”
“We couldn’t be more disappointed to not play one of our favorite cities this tour. Despite best efforts, rescheduling was not possible at this time due to existing schedule commitments,” added the band. Refunds are available at the point of purchase.
Pearl Jam kicked off the UK/European leg of their Dark Matter Tour last weekend in Dublin. The band is slated to continue the trek on Tuesday, July 3 with the first of two shows in Berlin.
