Paul McCartney Preps Massive Vinyl Box Set Featuring Career-Spanning Singles

Paul McCartney is offering a massive, solo career-spanning vinyl collection, The 7″ Singles Box, beginning on December 2 (pre-order). The collection contains 80 7-inch vinyl singles including Macca solo classics like “Live and Let Die,” “Band on the Run,” “Silly Love Songs” and many more.

The 7″ Singles Box set boasts recreations of 65 singles along with their original B-Sides using artwork from 11 different countries. The collection also contains 15 singles never before released on 7-inch vinyl. All told, the box set complies 163 tracks totaling over 10 hours.

The 7″ Singles Box is packaged in a special wooden art crate and includes “a 148-page book that features a personal foreword by Paul, an essay by music journalist Rob Sheffield and extensive chart information, liner notes, and single artwork,” as per press materials for the box set.

“I hope the songs in this box set bring back fun memories for you too,” Paul said. “They do for me, and there will be more to come…”
