Particle

Particle has been keeping busy in 2007, both in the studio recording their second full length album and touring the West Coast.

The West Coast run was highlighted by guitarist Ben Combe‘s return to his home state of Arizona, and sold out shows at the Fox Theatre in Boulder and Ft. Collins’ Aggie Theatre. In March the band returned home for an intimate three show run in San Diego. Each night featured special surprises which included the band playing the album Launchpad in its entirety from start to finish, a set full of Pink Floyd and the debut of four brand new songs including “Get Your Ass to Mars,” “Your Moment,” “Lie to Me,” and “Broken Arrow.”

Particle begins their extensive spring tour in Colorado with shows in Aspen, Crested Butte, and Copper Mountain as part of Sunsation. The band will then be joined for seven shows by their good friends Boombox across the Midwest and South. Jerry Joseph gets on board in Boston on April 18 at the Paradise Rock Club and on April 20 in New York City at the Bowery Ballroom as part of the Green Apple Music Festival. On April 27 the band returns to Jazz Fest with their annual late night throwdown at The Parish @ House of Blues in New Orleans. The tour wraps up back in California with a show at Slim’s in San Francisco on May 4 with the K23 Orchestra.
