Watch Olivia Dean Perform ‘The Christmas Song’ At Westminster Abbey

Among the highlights of the 2024 Together at Christmas carol service hosted by the Princess of Wales at Westminster Abbey in London, was a performance by Olivia Dean. Official audio and video of Dean singing “The Christmas Song” were shared in advance of the 2025 Together at Christmas carol service taking place this week.

The fifth annual Together at Christmas carol service will be held this Friday, December 5 and will again feature the renowned Abbey Choir performing holiday songs, along with additional musical offerings and readings by Hannah Waddingham, Dan Smith, Kate Winslet and Chiwetel Ejiofor.

Last year’s Together at Christmas carol service included performances by the Abbey Choir and Olivia Dean, as well as Paloma Faith, JP Cooper and Gregory Porter. Dean’s version of “The Christmas Song” (“Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire”), which entered the holiday lexicon in the mid-1940s, is available on streaming platforms and via the video embedded below:
