For the first time in nearly four decades, George Clinton has released music as Parliment. The 76-year-old funk pioneer dropped the new single “I’m Gon Make U Sick O’Me,” which is set to appear on the influential act’s upcoming release Medicaid Fraud Dog, their first new studio album since 198O’s Trombipulation.

The track has Parliament’s classic interstellar space funk sound and features Geto Boys rapper Scarface. During a recent Reddit AMA Clinton revealed he was inspired by, “Flying Lotus, Kendrick Lamar, Tra’Zae, and all that sh*t coming out of Atlanta,” and that the upcoming release will include the PFunk horns – Fred Wesley, Pee Wee Ellis, Greg Thomas and Benny Cowan.
