Americana roots rockers Old Shoe will issue their new album Country Home on October 6. The band has also shared the new record’s lead single, “Long Black Hair.”

The Chicago-based five-piece is following up their 2013 album Family. The band penned 13 new tracks for Country Home, which they recorded with engineer, mixer and co-producer Chris Harden at I.V. Labs Studio in Chicago. Some of the songs were written at a country home in Oneida County, Wisconsin.

Old Shoe will host the 2017 Shoe Fest on September 1 – 3 at Camp Shaw Waw Nas See in Manteno, Illinois. They’ll perform alongside Leftover Salmon, Jeff Austin Band, Henhouse Prowlers, The Schwag and others.
