Old 97’s shared “Bottle Rocket Baby,” the latest single off their upcoming album, Twelfth. ATO Records will release the group’s appropriately titled 12th album on August 21.
Frontman Rhett Miller, drummer Philip Peeples, guitarist Ken Bethea and bassist Murry Hammond recorded Twelfth with producer Vance Powell. The sessions at Sputnik Sound in Nashville coincided with the deadly March tornado that severely damaged the Nashville area. The album features the previously shared singles, “Turn Off The TV” and “The Dropouts.”
