Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival Adds Fourth Day

The first Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival will take place March 3 – 6 just outside of Florida’s Lake Okeechobee. Organizers have added another day to the inaugural event, now set to take place over the course of four days. Okeechobee will begin one day earlier than initially planned, kicking off on Thursday, March 3.
Organizers have promised no previously announced acts planned to appear on Friday, March 4 or later will be on the slate for the newly added day. Just a few of the many artists confirmed to appear includes Ween, Mumford & Sons, Robert Plant And The Sensational Space Shifters, Booker T. Jones, The Avett Brothers, Grace Potter, Jason Isbell, Big Gigantic and Lettuce (check out the full lineup here).
Below is a breakdown of what’s planned for the extra day and night, as well as information for those who have purchased passes already:
OMF16 will now feature programming on Thursday starting at 5pm and going LATE into the night! Arrive at Noon on Thursday March 3 to ENTER THE PORTAL and immediately start sunning yourself at Aquachobee Beach during the day and then head over to Jungle 51 until the wee hours of the morn! Check out the incredible ChobeeWobee Village and have first access to artisan craft vendors and incredible art installations! And if you can’t make it until Friday, NOT TO WORRY!! All previously scheduled artists will not begin until Friday! And there is PLENTY of amazing camping available!
