nugs.tv Announces Jerry Garcia Birthday Band Webcasts

An all-star troupe of musicians will perform under the Jerry Garcia Birthday Band moniker at a pair of “Mighty High” concerts at Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater in Vail on Friday and Saturday nights. If you can’t make it to the “Mighty High” shows in person, there’s an option to watch each two-set show from home or wherever you have an internet connection.

nugs.tv will broadcast both concerts live from Vail. The Jerry Garcia Birthday Band features long-time Jerry Garcia Band keyboardist Melvin Seals and vocalists Jacklyn LaBranch and Gloria Jones as well as Dead & Company bassist Oteil Burbridge, Joe Russo’s Almost Dead & Ghost Light guitarist Tom Hamilton and Widespread Panic drummer Duane Trucks. Look for the webcasts to start at 8:45 p.m. ET on Friday and Saturday nights. The webcasts are currently available for purchase separately or as a discounted two-show bundle via nugs.tv.

The Jerry Garcia Birthday Band made their debut last summer at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colorado as part of a celebration of Garcia’s 75th birthday.
