Norah Jones Covers LCD Soundsystem’s New Single

Last weekend Norah Jones brought her 2017 Day Breaks Tour to Chicago for a pair of shows at The Chicago Theatre. The concert on Saturday evening featured the multi-instrumentalist performing a debut cover of a recently released new LCD Soundsystem single.

Jones introduced the cover of “American Dream” by explaining to the Windy City audience, “We’ve never done this song before, I’m just going to say that.” Audio of the performance was captured and posted to YouTube by UnreleasedOriginal, who reported Jones played electric guitar and Wurlitzer.
