Nine Inch Nails will return to the road later this year. The band led by Trent Reznor have delayed their tour announcement in the wake of the devastating wildfires in Southern California.

“Since some dates and information about our world tour have leaked we are confirming that yes we will be touring and will provide more details soon,” Nine Inch Nails announced in a social media post published on Monday (January 13). “We are all watching the devastation that is unfolding in California and have paused our announcement while people try to deal with all that is happening.”

While Nine Inch Nails last took the stage in 2022, the band hasn’t toured extensively since their “The Trilogy Tour” in 2017 and 2018. The forthcoming excursion is set to be dubbed the “Peel It Back World Tour” as a Facebook page promoting a concert on September 10 at Tampa’s Amalie Arena pointed out on Reddit.

Trent Reznor and longtime collaborator Atticus Ross revealed in multiple 2024 interviews a new Nine Inch Nails album was in the works. The band’s last new music came in 2020 via a pair of surprise-released albums: Ghosts V: Together and Ghosts VI: Locusts.
