Nicole Atkins Shares New Single ‘Mind Eraser’

Nicole Atkins previewed her forthcoming Italian Ice studio album by releasing the single “Mind Eraser.” Italian Ice is due out May 29 via Single Look Records.

“Mind Eraser” is the second track on the long-awaited follow-up to Atkins’ 2017 studio album, Goodnight Rhonda Lee. The New Jersey native wrote the song with My Morning Jacket guitarist Carl Broemel.

Nicole recorded Italian Ice, which she co-produced with Ben Tanner, at the legendary Muscle Shoals Sound Studio. The band on the 11-track LP features Spooner Oldham and David Hood of the Muscle Shoals Rhythm Section as well as drummer McKenzie Smith, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds members Jim Sclavunos and David “Moose” Sherman as well as The Dap-Kings’ Binky Griptite.
