Newport Folk Festival Announces 2018 Livestream Schedule

One of the nation’s oldest and most prestigious music festivals, the Newport Folk Festival, begins today and runs through Sunday at Fort Adams State Park in Newport, Rhode Island. If you can’t make it to Newport Folk in person, there’s an option to listen to select sets from home or wherever you have an internet connection.

NPR Music will be on hand to stream select sets from Newport Folk ’18 via the festival’s TuneIn station. Sets from The Wood Brothers, Lukas Nelson and the Promise of the Real, Courtney Barnett, Khruangbin, Gary Clark Jr., Brandi Carlile and Nels Cline are among those set to air live from Newport.
