Newport Folk Festival Adds Alone & Together To 2017 Lineup

The 2017 Newport Folk Festival will take place July 28 – 30 at Fort Adams Park in Newport, Rhode Island. Organizers continue to roll out this year’s lineup, with Alone & Together being the latest addition.

Coming off three shows in California, including one with special guest Bob Weir, Alone & Together features Joe Russo, Kevin Morby, Sam Cohen, Josh Kaufman and Eric D. Johnson. They’ll perform a set on the first day of the festival, alongside Fleet Foxes, The Head And The Heart and others. Saturday, July 29 will feature Newport performances by Drive-By Truckers, Angel Olsen and others and Sunday, July 30 will see sets by Punch Brothers, I’m With Her, Dr. Dog, Rhiannon Giddens and more.
