Neil Finn teamed with his Fleetwood Mac band mates, Stevie Nicks & Christine McVie, for the charity single “Find Your Way Back Home.” Proceeds from the Finn and McVie-penned song go towards the Auckland City Mission.

Finn was born in New Zealand and went on to join his brother, Tim, in Split Enz and achieved worldwide fame as the voice and face of Crowded House. Neil and Mike Campbell became members of Fleetwood Mac in 2018 after Lindsey Buckingham parted ways with the band. “Find Your Way Back Home” features Neil Finn, Nicks, McVie, Campbell and Neil’s son, Elroy as well as vocalist Georgia Nott.

Auckland City Mission is currently buidling “HomeGround.” The facility is described as “unlike anything else seen before in New Zealand; a purpose-built, safe space to stand against homelessness, hunger and poor health.” Neil Finn was inspired by the effort to write “Find Your Way Back Home” during Fleetwood Mac’s most recent world tour with McVie helping to pen the tune.

“I have always been aware of how important the City Mission is in our community representing and supporting everyday the homeless people of Auckland,” Finn said in a statement. “Now more than ever, as we shelter in place I am reminded that everyone should have a home where they feel safe and be well.” Watch the “Find Your Way Back Home” single and stream the song below:
