Francis Comes Alive: Neal Francis To Record Live Album & Concert Film With 11-Piece Band

Chicago-based keyboardist Neal Francis‘ upcoming hometown shows will take on extra importance. The two-night run will be documented for future release as a live album and concert film.

Francis promises to “[pull] out all the stops with an 11-piece band and much more” at Chicago’s Thalia Hall on March 24 and 25. Neal Francis typically fronts a quartet that finds him backed by guitarist Kellen Boersma, bassist Mike Starr and drummer Collin O’Brien. The extra members of the ensemble have not been announced.

While tickets for the first night initially sold out, a few tickets for the show were recently released.

Neal Francis continues his winter tour tonight (January 27) in Pittsburgh. The run ends on February 4 in Charleston. Francis will then make his Jam Cruise debut. Scroll below for dates.
