Cinncinnati’s own The National was scheduled to play the iconic Greek Theatre in Berkeley back on October 14 and 15, 2017. While the shows were postponed due to the California Wildfires, new dates have been announced.
The National will play the Greek Berkeley on September 24 and September 25 to replace the concerts originally scheduled for October 14 and 15 respectively. The September 25th performance is no longer a matinee but kids 10 and under will still be admitted for free.
“We are very happy to announce we have rescheduled our postponed shows at the Greek Theater in Berkeley, CA for September 24th and 25th. The Greek is one of our favorite venues in the world and it was heartbreaking to have to postpone the shows in October due to the wildfires in Northern California. To all of you who had tickets to the original shows, thank you for your patience and we can’t wait to return to the Greek to play for you” wrote Aaron Dessner of The National.
