The Music Of Paul McCartney will be celebrated by an all-star lineup of performers on March 15 at Carnegie Hall in New York City. Famed rocker Nancy Wilson (Heart), hitmaker Christopher Cross and Wings/Moody Blues co-founder Christopher Cross are just a few recent additions to the roster for impresario Michael Dorf’s annual Music Of benefit concert.

Hamilton Leithauser and Resistance Revival Chorus have also joined a lineup that already included Graham Nash, Bruce Hornsby, Natalie Merchant, Sammy Rae, Jonathan Russell, Lake Street Dive, Allison Russell, Bettye LaVette, Peter Asher, Ingrid Michaelson, Glen Hansard, Lyle Lovett, The Cactus Blossoms and Shovels & Rope. Each act is expected to perform a song from Paul McCartney’s unparalleled catalog.

March’s concert will be the 18th annual Music Of fundraiser put together by Dorf. Proceeds from the show and auxiliary events benefit support music education programs for underserved youth including Music Will (formally Little Kids Rock), Young Audiences NY, FIXS, Church Street School of Music, The Center for Arts Education, D’Addario Foundation, Sonic Arts for All, Save the Music, Midori & Friends, Grammy in the Schools, the Orchestra Now and the Newport Jazz Kids.

“What an honor to work with one of the greatest singer/songwriters in history and have him interested in our annual show at Carnegie Hall,” Dorf stated in a press release. “We have missed doing this during the pandemic and looking forward to this special night.” McCartney follows a long line of renowned artists who have been feted at the tributes such as Prince, R.E.M., David Byrne/Talking Heads, Aretha Franklin, Paul Simon and Led Zeppelin.

General Admission and VIP tickets are available for The Music Of Paul McCartney via SiriusXM’s Christine Stone will serve as the event’s MC.
