Watch ‘Ted Lasso’ Cast Members Join Mumford & Sons At Concert Near Kansas City

Season four of the hit television series Ted Lasso has been seen filming in the Kansas City area this week. The Apple TV+ sitcom features a theme song written and performed by Mumford & Sons', who played a concert last night at Azura Amphitheater in Bonner Springs, just outside Kansas City, and were joined by members of the cast.

The concert’s encore saw the band joined by Ted Lasso actors Jason Sudeikis, Hannah Waddingham, Brendan Hunt and Juno Temple for a performance of the Mumford-written theme. The television series’ titular character is portrayed by Sudeikis, who was raised in the nearby Kansas City suburb of Overland Park.

During Thursday’s encore, a shout of “We need some help!” from Marcus Mumford summoned the Ted Lasso cast members to the stage as he and his bandmates fired up the series’ theme song. Mumford referenced the TV show by capping the performance with an enthusiastic “Believe!”

“Kansas City!” exclaimed Sudeikis at the end of the performance, before adding, “How lucky are they?”
