Mumford & Sons And The Milk Carton Kids Cover Simon & Garfunkel In Denver

Mumford & Sons closed out a three-night run at Denver’s Fiddler’s Green on Saturday which also brought the latest leg of their tour in support of Delta to a close. The U.K. folk-pop group welcomed openers Kenneth Pattengale and Joey Ryan of The Milk Carton Kids for a cover of Simon & Garfunkel’s “The Boxer” during the encore.
Mumford & Sons got things going with “Guiding Light” off of their 2018 album Delta followed by “Little Lion Man,” “Babel,” “Beloved” and “White Blank Page.” The band would continue on with “Lover Of The Light,” “Tompkins Square Park,” “Believe” and “Rose Of Sharon.”
The second half of the set featured “The Cave,” “Roll Away Your Stone,” “Ditmas” and “Slip Away.” Up Next was “Picture You” and “Darkness Visible” ahead of the set closer, “The Wolf.” The band would reemerge for the encore with The Milk Carton Kids in tow for “Awake My Soul” and “The Boxer.” Mumford & Sons would continue the encore with “Only Love” and “I Will Wait” before bringing the evening to a close with “Delta.”
