Mumford & Sons Debut New Songs In Hungary

Just weeks after they were the surprise unannounced headliner at the Newport Folk Festival, Mumford & Sons were back at it on Saturday night topping the bill at the Sziget Festival in Budapest, Hungary. The London-based used the opportunity to debut three new songs during their career-spanning 16-song set.
The folk-leaning band, who last released an album back in 2015, wasted no time in showcasing what they’ve been working on for the next record. The quartet opened up their night with “See A Sign” a bouncy mid-tempo rocker that features their knack for crafting anthemic choruses. From their Marcus Mumford & Co. would work their way through a selection of fan-favorites including “Little Lion Man,” “The Cave,” “Awake My Soul,” “Tompkins Square Park” and “Dust Bowl Dance.”
Towards the back end of their main set, the band offered up their second debut of the night with “Woman” an electro-tinged ballad. The four-piece used their four-song encore to serve up one more new one as they premiered “Guiding Light.” The final new tune of the evening harkens back to the bluegrass-stomp of their first two albums while incorporating some of the mainstream rock sounds of Wilder Nights.
