In the video below Nigel Hall leads Soulive, The Shady Horns, the Snarky Puppy Horns and members of Butcher Brown on a pair of James Brown covers. Up first from Hall, Alan Evans, Eric Krasno, Neal Evans, Eric “Benny” Bloom, Ryan Zoidis, Mike Maher, Chris Bullock, Matthew Hartnett, Morgan Burrs and Marcus Tenney is “Licking Stick.” The ensemble then embarks on a cover of JB’s “There Was A Time.”
