Mountain Man continues to rollout a series of covers with the release of Mountain Man Sings Neil Young featuring a take on “Through My Sails.” The trio consisting of Amelia Meath (of Sylvan Esso), Molly Sarlé and Alexandra Sauser-Monnig (Daughter of Swords) show off their sweet vocal harmonies as they are accompanied by only an acoustic guitar on the rendition of “Through My Sails” from Young’s 1975 studio album, Zuma.
“Neil Young has been a pillar of the soundtrack along the Mountain Man road from Vermont to the windy ocean roads of California,” said Mountain Man in statement. “‘Through My Sails’ is such a gentle secret at the end of Zuma and it felt immediately natural and right sinking into the harmonies of Neil Young with Crosby, Stills and Nash.”
