Mountain Grass Unit will release their debut album, Appalachian Smoke, on August 28 via Dualtone Records. The rising bluegrass outfit mapped out the Appalachian Smoke Tour, a run that kicks off ahead of the album’s release and stretches deep into the fall.

The tour opens in Ohio with shows in Cleveland on August 17 and Columbus on August 18 before Mountain Grass Unit heads to Nashville for their Grand Ole Opry debut on August 26 and an album release show at Brooklyn Bowl Nashville the following night. September takes the band through the South — New Orleans, Houston, Austin, Dallas — and out west with back-to-back nights in Denver, plus stops in Salt Lake City, Santa Fe (New Mexico) and Boise (Idaho).

The Pacific Northwest portion includes Vancouver (British Columbia), Seattle and Portland (Oregon) before the route swings through San Francisco and West Hollywood. October dates bring festival appearances at Suwannee Hulaween in Live Oak (Florida) and Hillberry Festival in Eureka Springs (Arkansas), along with a standalone show in Oklahoma City. The tour wraps with a November run through the East Coast and Midwest, touching Atlanta, Opelika (Alabama), Charleston (South Carolina), Charlotte (North Carolina), Raleigh (North Carolina), Washington D.C., Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, Brooklyn, Boston, Toronto (Ontario), Detroit, Chicago and Minneapolis, concluding November 22.

Following various presales, general onsales begin on Thursday, June 18 at 10 a.m. local time.
