Last week, singer/guitarist Tim Bluhm underwent emergency appendectomy surgery just one night into The Mother Hips‘ spring tour. Thankfully, Tim Bluhm has recovered enough to take the stage with The Hips tonight (Friday, March 30) at McCabe’s Guitar Shop in Santa Monica and tomorrow (Saturday, March 31) at the Belly Up Tavern in Solana Beach.

“I’m excited to get back on the road,” said Bluhm. “Our relationship with fans is such a huge part of who we are… Getting to play for them is one of the best parts of what we do.” Sunday’s show in Anaheim was postponed in the wake of Tim’s surgery. Stay tuned for the rescheduled date.
