My Morning Jacket Announces 2017 Summer Tour

Kentucky rockers My Morning Jacket will return to the road this summer for a U.S. tour. The band will play 11 headlining shows featuring support from Gary Clark Jr., The Districts, Margo Price, Jaw Gems and The Record Company at select dates.

The band begins the tour with a pair of Ohio gigs featuring support from The Record Company as they will play PNC Pavilion at Riverbend Music Center in Cincinnati on June 22 followed by Jacobs Pavilion at Nautica in Cleveland on June 23. After an appearance at Electric Forest in Rothbury, Michigan on June 24, the tour will continue with a July run. Up first is a show at Ascend Amphitheater in Nashville with Margo Price on July 7 followed by stops at Metro Credit Union Amphitheater in Charlotte on July 8 and Red Hat Amphitheater in Raleigh on July 9 featuring support from Gary Clark Jr.

My Morning Jacket plays Thompson’s Point in Portland, Maine on July 11 with Clark Jr. and then The Green at Shelburne Museum in Shelburne, Vermont with Jaw Gems on July 12. Clark Jr. returns to the support slot for concerts at Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, Maryland on July 14 and NYC’s Forest Hills Stadium on July 15. The tour is currently scheduled to conclude in August as the band will play Express Live! in Columbus with The Districts on August 10, will headline the Peach Festival in Scranton on August 11 and will visit MASS MoCA in North Adams, Massachusetts with The Districts on August 12.

Tickets for all newly announced shows go on sale this Friday, March 17. Members of the band’s Roll Call fan club will get access to tickets via a pre-sale on Tuesday, March 14. Head here for more details.
