Moon Taxi Shares New Single ‘Good As Gold’

On January 19, Moon Taxi will issue a new album entitled Let The Record Play. Another track off the upcoming LP, the single “Good As Gold,” has been released.

Moon Taxi guitarist Spencer Thomson produced and mixed Let The Record Play, which is the group’s first album issued by RCA Records and fifth overall. The Nashville-based band recorded 10 new songs for the release, including the previously shared singles “Two High” and the title track.

“Good as Gold is a song about empowerment,” Moon Taxi keyboardist Wes Bailey stated. “It’s about reaching that moment, that place where all your hard work pays off. It’s no coincidence that we wrote it as the Nashville Predators were fighting for the Stanley Cup last season. Team colors inspired the lyric for sure.”
