The Monster Mash Music Fest is set to take place over Halloween weekend at Tempe Beach Park in Tempe, Arizona. Sadly, the festival’s organizers have just announced the performances scheduled for Friday, October 30 have been cancelled. The Saturday, October 31 and Sunday, November 1 Monster Mash concerts will take place as planned.

Friday’s cancelled performances include Tedeschi Trucks Band, John Fogerty and Santana. Tool’s Halloween night performance at Monster Mash is expected to be the band’s only set of 2015, while Primus’ set that evening will be one of just two sets to take place this fall. Other acts still slated to appear at Monster Mash include With Our Arms To The Sun, Aeges and Coheed & Cambria on October 31 and Halestorm, Ghost, Puscifer, Deftones, Rob Zombie and Linkin Park planned for November 1.
Here’s the statement from the event’s Facebook page:
We’re very disappointed to announce the sad cancellation of Friday’s show, but HAVE NO FEAR! Saturday and Sunday’s shows are completely uneffected by this change. The shows will go on as planned and we can’t wait to see you there at #MonsterMashAZ!
Those wishing to refund their tickets to Monster Mash can do so at the point of purchase.
