moe. & Umphrey’s McGee Swap Covers At Summer Camp In 2003

In May 2013 moe. and Umphrey’s McGee headlined the Summer Camp Music Festival in Chillicothe, Illinois. That in itself wasn’t special as UM and moe. are the event’s traditional headliners, but at the 2013 installment of Summer Camp each band impressively covered the other’s signature song.

On the Friday night of S’Camp ’13 Umphrey’s busted out “Rebubula,” a moe. cover they played frequently during the early years of the band. UM’s rendition of “Rebubula” on May 24, 2013 was one of the biggest bust outs in the group’s history as it was 1,734 shows since they last performed the tune on June 24, 1999. Not to be outdone, on the Saturday night of S’Camp ’13 moe. debuted a cover of Umphrey’s “In The Kitchen.” Footage of the cover was shared last year as part of the Summer Camp Sessions series of videos. Take a look:
