By Team JamBase Mar 6, 2015 • 8:00 am PST

Keneally had appeared with Umphrey’s at the same venue a few times in the past, the most recent of which took place in 2010. Mike came out towards the end of the second set to play guitar on the UM original “Wappy Sprayberry” as well as a cover of The Rolling Stones’ “Can’t You Hear Me Knocking.” Last night’s show also featured the return of “Passing,” which had been on the shelf since May 4, 2014 -a span of 84 shows. Umphrey’s guitarist Jake Cinninger unveiled a new guitar he used throughout the night.
Next up for Umphrey’s is a listening party at Sonos Studios this afternoon followed by a performance with Joshua Redman at The Wiltern in Los Angeles.
