Mike Doughty’s Ghost Of Vroom Preview ‘Ghost Of Vroom 3’ Album With Catchy ‘Pay The Man’ Single

Ghost of Vroom, led by singer-songwriter Mike Doughty (Soul Coughing), detailed a new album, Ghost Of Vroom 3, due out on September 1 via Mod y Vi Records. The band also shared the lead single, “Pay The Man.”

Ghost Of Vroom 3 saw Doughty, bassist Andrew “Scrap” Livingston and drummer Madden Klass teaming back up with renowned producer Mario Caldato Jr. (Beastie Boys, Beck, Jack Johnson). Mario C also co-produced the group’s 2021 debut full-length, Ghost Of Vroom 1.

Press materials describe Ghost Of Vroom 3’s 12 tracks as “built upon hard-hitting drums, eclectic hooks, and Doughty’s signature brand of lyrically dexterous art-pop.”
